Assess customer needs, update support plans, and signpost to education, training, and employment
:
Support customers with daily living tasks such as cooking and cleaning
:
Offer advice to help customers meet tenancy conditions
:
Assist with managing finances and welfare benefits
:
Promote social inclusion and help build confidence and resilience
:
Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are met
(This role is sometimes also referred to as Support Worker, Support Assistant, or Independent Living Assistant).

Experience working with vulnerable people

Positive approach to supporting young people with varied needs

Strong interpersonal and customer care skills
:
Effective communication and ability to work on your own initiative

Knowledge of support planning, key working, risk assessment, and safeguarding
:
Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar)
:
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards it
