Position: Night Support Worker
Location: Maryport, Cumbria
Type: Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hpw) - Part time hours available
Salary: £12.60 per hour (salary £24,638 per annum – pro rata) plus benefits including Health Cash Plan
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated night worker to support our customers with learning disabilities and/or autism, providing 24/7 care in our new CQC registered service. If you are energetic, alert, and committed to making a difference, this is the role for you.
Typical Night Shift Responsibilities
1. Providing regulated care, including medication administration and personal care such as bathing and dressing.
2. Supporting customers to develop independence and achieve their goals.
3. Building rapport through conversations and quality time with customers.
Candidate Requirements
* Level 2 Health and Social Care Certificate or willingness to obtain it.
* Passion for supporting others and attention to detail.
* Experience caring for others, whether professionally or personally.
* Ability to work independently, stay calm under pressure, and demonstrate resilience.
* Flexible and personal approach, with good listening skills to understand individual needs.
