Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year Requirements: We require 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in Quality Engineering and test automation. We require proven experience with API automation testing using Cypress API Framework. We require proven experience with automation testing using Playwright. We require hands-on experience with modern programming languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript. We require a strong understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, request and response structures, and API validation techniques. We require experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or similar. We require familiarity with version control systems such as Git. We require understanding of software testing methodologies including functional, regression, integration, and system testing. We require experience working in agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban. We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Responsibilities: We design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for RESTful APIs using Cypress API Framework. We develop and execute end-to-end UI and functional test automation using Playwright. We collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and define clear test scenarios and acceptance criteria. We implement robust test data management and test environment setup for API and UI automation. We integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and fast feedback. We analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with the development team to drive timely resolution. We ensure appropriate test coverage for regression, integration, and system testing across services and applications. We create and maintain clear test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and automation scripts. We participate in code reviews for test automation scripts to ensure quality, reusability, and adherence to best practices. We contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tooling, and automation frameworks. We collaborate with cross-functional teams to support performance, reliability, and security testing initiatives.
