Fram Professionals is working with a growing and well-regarded commercial business that is looking to engage with an accounts assistant, financial controller, or assistant finance manager to provide maternity cover on a one-year fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on and varied role, offering strong exposure to all areas of finance in a supportive and collaborative environment. The finance function is led by an experienced Finance Director, and this role will provide a valuable opportunity to develop both day-to-day and technical skills. The position involves assisting with the preparation of management accounts, supporting statutory reporting, and ensuring that financial controls and processes are maintained. The successful individual would take ownership of daily finance operations while receiving guidance on more complex areas. This would suit someone looking to build confidence in their accounting knowledge and gain wider exposure in a fast-paced, commercially focused business. We are keen to speak with individuals who hold an AAT qualification or have equivalent experience, particularly those who have been involved in producing management accounts as part of a wider finance role. A background in manufacturing or a similarly operational environment would be helpful, though not essential. What matters most is a proactive mindset, a high level of accuracy, and a willingness to take responsibility.
