Waldron Dental is a growing group of dental practices with a patient-first approach. We're looking for an experienced Group Manager who will be the Practice Manager across multiple sites, ensuring smooth day-to-day running, strong compliance and consistently excellent patient experience.
The role
This is a hands-on, visible role focused on keeping our practices running brilliantly—balancing rota and capacity planning, compliance oversight, complaint handling and operational problem-solving.
You'll report into the Operations Manager and work closely with a small support team to deliver consistent standards across the group.
Key responsibilities
* Day-to-day multi-site management: Ensure each practice runs efficiently, consistently and to agreed standards.
* Rotas and staffing coordination: Build and maintain rotas, plan cover, manage holidays/sickness cover and ensure the right skills are in place each day.
* Compliance and governance: Maintain high standards across CQC/GDC, GDPR, health & safety, safeguarding and internal policies.
* Complaints and service recovery: Own complaint handling from investigation through to resolution, ensuring learning is embedded and standards improve.
* Operational standards: Implement and maintain group-wide systems, procedures and best practice.
* Performance and reporting: Track KPIs, identify issues early and drive improvements in patient experience and business performance alongside the operations manager.
* Team coordination: Support and guide reception, nursing and clinical teams day-to-day to ensure smooth delivery of care.
* Communication: Create clear communication rhythms across sites and with central support.
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Multi-Site Practice Manager in dental practices.
* Strong understanding of compliance and regulated environments (CQC experience is highly desirable).
* Confident handling patient/customer complaints and service recovery.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail—able to manage competing priorities across multiple locations.
* Comfortable working with KPI reporting.
* Calm, professional and solutions-focused—able to lead from the front and set standards.
Nice to have
* Dental practice management background (Dentally/MPC or similar systems).
* Experience improving rotas, utilisation/occupancy, FTA/cancellation reduction and patient retention.
