Here at Chessington World of Adventures, our 2025 season is in full swing, and we are recruiting for a Costume Assistant to join the team where you can immerse yourself in a world of entertainment!
The resort operates year-round, and we are looking for a candidate to support us with maintaining and creating costumes for our Howl’o’ween and Winter Tail events, as well as cleaning and maintaining various costume characters, from Gruffalo to Paw Patrol favorites. There will always be exciting tasks to sink your teeth into!
The role involves a variety of duties depending on the needs of the day, including:
* Supporting the Costume Supervisor in sewing and creating costumes
* General administration and stock management of costumes
* Organizing and preparing costumes for new events
* Laundry and basic cleaning
* Maintenance and repair of costumes and skin characters
Unsociable hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
Due to the nature of this role, applicants must be 18 or over.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will be organized, passionate, quick-thinking, and detail-oriented. Strong sewing skills with some prior training are preferred. Excellent communication skills, along with a positive and friendly attitude, are essential to support not only live entertainment and events but the overall daily operations of the resort.

Pay Range
GBP £12.60 per hour
