Job Purpose
Join us and you will focus on developing business for a network of Dulux Decorator Centre (DDC) within your region of responsibility. This will involve delivering commercial and financial plans to support regional priorities as well as collaborating with colleagues to ensure excellent retail and operational standards instore. You will also help develop the retail and commercial skills of store colleagues.
Job Responsibilities
• Assist DDC stores by driving sales, while optimising margin, cost efficiency and protecting against stock/cash losses.
• Collaborate with the stores to ensure the right customer contact plans are being implemented to support the delivery of GIV, Volume & Margin targets.
• Liaise with local sales/specification teams to grow the business & our ‘share of wallet’ across stores in your region.
• Support stores to achieve market leading business performance.
• Review performance against financial & non-financial targets & develop initiatives to improve performance as needed.
• Collaborate with your Regional Operations Manager to develop talent.
What to Expect
As a multisite cluster manager no one day will be the same. You will be driving the financial performance across both stores, ensuring the colleagues are engaged and nurturing a “one team” mentality across your branches. You will guide your teams to deliver market leading levels of customer service, maintaining high levels of store standards all under pined by living and breathing our health and safety principles.
You will help your team deliver excellent customer journey experience, this may be via customers who come into store, but also through proactive management of your stores customer ledgers. You will have a comprehensive suite of reporting available to you which will allow you to be strategic in your business planning ensuring costs are controlled and profitability is maximized. You will be trained to understand all our products and services, offering and advice and solutions to your customers in store and over the phone.
Job Requirements
• Sales / Account Management experience.
• Experience of managing multiple stores / teams of people
• Clean driving licence.
• Effective at inspiring & managing teams, setting goals & improving performance.
• Excellent communication, problem solving & interpersonal skills.
