Nursery Practitioner Needed – Newcastle We are currently recruiting a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive nursery setting in Newcastle. This is a long-term opportunity starting at the end of January, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. Location: Newcastle Position: Nursery Practitioner Hours: Full-time – typically 3 days 8:00–6:00 and 1 day either 8:00–5:30 or 8:30–6:00 Start Date: 26/01/2026 Pay: £13.95–£14.50 per hour About the Role: Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0–5 years Support children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment Work collaboratively with the nursery team to maintain high standards of care Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues What We’re Looking For: Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Early Years (or equivalent) Paediatric First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain one Previous experience within a nursery or early years setting A caring, dependable, and enthusiastic attitude Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming nursery in Newcastle, with the potential to secure a permanent role.
