Retail Assistant - Sodexo | Army HQ Andover
What You’ll Do
* Deliver excellent customer service and create a positive customer experience.
* Operate tills, card payment systems, and other retail technology.
* Handle cash accurately and follow all cash handling procedures.
* Replenish stock, maintain stock levels, and assist with deliveries.
* Ensure shelves are well‑stocked, correctly priced, and attractively presented.
* Prepare and serve hot and cold food in line with food safety standards.
* Maintain clean, safe, and organised retail areas.
* Follow health, safety, security, and company procedures.
* Work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues when required.
* Attend training sessions and team meetings to support continuous development.
Qualifications
* Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
* Basic understanding of health and safety requirements.
* Good organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
Desirable Experience
* Previous retail experience.
* Previous customer service experience.
* Experience handling cash and operating till systems.
* Experience in food preparation or food retail environments.
