Job Title: Head Chef

Role Description:
Leading the Kitchen team, you are responsible for the delivery of a high class food service. You will lead our double kitchen, inside the venue, supporting THE BUTCHER and Toni Loco, to serve food to customers throughout their CUBE journey.
Regular evenings and weekend work is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Orchestrating and leading top quality food service to compliment the customer experience.
* Prepare and cook dishes, including THE BUTCHER burgers to TONI LOCO pizzas.
* Ensure food is always delivered on time and to a high standard.
* Organising shifts and rotas.
* Reporting and dealing with operational or equipment issues.
* Monitor and order stock, dealing with deliveries.
* Managing HR, including 121s, disciplinaries and performance reviews.
* Ensuring the highest level of safety and hygiene at all times.
* Recruiting and training new staff members.
* Maintain a clean and presentable service area at all times.
* Assist in opening and closing the kitchen.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensure all training is promptly completed and documented.
* Working with the franchise group and marketing department on menu changes.
* Dealing with customer complaints.
* Proactively contribute to and suggest ways of improving company processes.
* Design and implement new procedures as directed by senior team.
* Onboarding and training of newer members of the team.
The position may involve other duties appropriate to the role.
Skills
Technical
* 10 years of Kitchen experience.
* Experience leading large teams including back office responsibilities.
* High volume kitchen operation experience.
* Recruiting, building and training teams of kitchen staff.
* Experience opening and closing kitchen areas.
Personal
Competence in all of the following personal skills is required for this role:
* Flexibility to work regular evenings and weekends.
* Positive, ‘Can do’ attitude, picking up any additional responsibilities.
* Strong leadership.
* A keen eye for detail.
* Ability to think on your feet and adapt to changes.
