Role Description Job Title : Practice Development Account Manager Global job level : Team Companion Animal Location : UK Field Force Reporting to Area Business Manager Managed Resources : No direct reports Job Purpose To manage sales and relationships with assigned customers to deliver at least agreed sales targets for Virtual Recall’s portfolio of services: iRecall® and OurVet.Shop® To support the CA field force to add value and deliver in - direct sales support to our key customers with specific focus on VetPost® our prescription home delivery service To develop and maintain mutually beneficial and productive long term partnerships with our customers, with the appropriate quantity and quality of interactions to contribute to the overall success of Zoetis UK. Core Responsibilities Planning : - Generate sales for a portfolio of accounts to reach and exceed the company's sales target - Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts to retain a client-account manager relationship by up-selling and cross-selling - Create and manage a specific customer target list for each of the services - Align territory planning and subsequent sales activities to campaigns provided by Marketing to best effect - Manage and solve conflicts with clients - Interact and coordinate with the sales team and other staff members in other departments working on the same account - Work with external account managers to deliver 3rd party supported campaigns to the vet practices on territory - Establish budgets with the client and company - Meet time deadlines for accounts Relationships - Develop mutually beneficial and productive long term partnerships with our customers based on high quality account plans. - Implement bespoke customer solutions as directed by your line manager. Contribute to the success of your team by sharing best practice with colleagues and proactively contributing ideas. Call activity - Deliver call activity in accordance with agreed KPIs to achieve the required coverage and frequency with identified target customers. - All booked appointments are entered into the CRM system with a clear pre-call plan included in line with the solution selling model. - Ensure clear and specific objectives exist for each individual call. - Deliver relevant marketing messages, product information and programmes consistent with management direction in line with Solution Selling model. - Proactively identify customer opportunities and capitalize on them. - Co-ordinate with colleagues in order to achieve positive changes to the customers understanding and use of our portfolio of products, services and pricing. - Accurately record call activity in the CRM system, in line with company guidance. - Ensure clear and timely follow up plan is in place and actioned. Connect customer needs with Zoetis added value products and services. - Negotiate to a position of win : win : win. Know the impact on the account holder and the end customer. - Interact with the customer with the goal of linking Zoetis, our products and our services to the long term business needs of the customer. Relationships - Develop mutually beneficial long term partnerships with our customers based on high quality interactions and exceptional provision of service. - Implement bespoke solutions for the customer utilising all available resources and tools. - Address the specific and individual needs of customers promptly and effectively. React with speed to their needs and requests. - Contribute to the success of your team by sharing best practice with colleagues and proactively introducing ideas. Compliance - Maintain high standards of business conduct and compliance, adhering particularly to Pharmacovigilance Policy, Global vet Policy, Zoetis values, travel & expenses policy and local codes of practise. Able to use standard business software and communication tools. - Driven and self-motivated. - Team player - Project management skills - Training experience - Aptitude for sales required, previous sales training desired Experience - Proven sales track record - Ideally experience in veterinary market Travel Requirement - This role is based from home and requires extensive travel to customer clinics and trade shows. - The successful candidate will be required to live on territory Full time Why Join Zoetis?
