Adecco Bristol is looking to appoint an experienced and motivated Recruitment Consultant to develop and grow a temporary and permanent Engineering & Manufacturing desk, focusing on semi‑skilled and skilled blue‑collar roles across the Bristol market.

The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to establish and grow a dedicated Engineering & Manufacturing desk in Bristol, an area with huge untapped potential. With clear plans to increase headcount in the near future, this is ideal for a recruiter who thrives in a build‑from‑scratch environment and wants to shape a desk that can scale.
You'll work three days remotely, spending time canvassing the local market, meeting clients, and developing partnerships, with two flexible office days split between Adecco's Cheltenham and Bristol offices.
Key Responsibilities
Build and grow a 360 temp and perm recruitment desk covering Engineering and Manufacturing roles
Focus on semi‑skilled and skilled blue‑collar positions
Proactively map the Bristol market, identifying new clients and opportunities
Develop long‑term relationships with manufacturing and engineering clients
Source, attract and manage candidates through the full recruitment lifecycle
Provide market insight, workforce solutions and excellent client service
Play a key role in shaping and scaling the division as demand increases
About You
Proven experience in temporary and/or permanent recruitment (industrial, engineering or manufacturing preferred)
Highly driven, commercial and self‑motivated
Comfortable working autonomously and taking full ownership of a desk
Confident with business development, client meetings and market canvassing
Ambitious and motivated by the opportunity to build something with long‑term potential
Passionate about blue‑collar recruitment and relationship‑led sales
