The Role:
Worcestershire Registration Service is currently recruiting a Registration Officer for the county. These posts are vital in delivering this important statutory service.
You will be registering births, deaths and marriages meeting our community at key times in their lives.
Previous experience of Registration work is not required as we will provide all the necessary training. What you do need to be able to show is commitment and flexibility; the ability to travel throughout the county and be able to empathise with people.
You may be in an office working with others or in an office on your own at times so self motivation is essential.
You will need to have the necessary confidence and presence to officiate at weddings and other ceremonies; be able to work with meticulous attention to detail; have excellent IT skills; be able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
There is a lot to learn, and we will support you every step of the way.
