Department: Apprenticeships

The Opportunity
Are you ready to inspire the next generation of childcare professionals?
Whether you are an experienced Childcare Practitioner, Childcare Manager, Residential Childcare Worker, or a qualified teacher looking for a fresh and rewarding opportunity, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
At the heart of this role is the chance to make a genuine and lasting difference — sharing your knowledge, skills and real-life experience to help learners grow in confidence and achieve their full potential. New to teaching or training? Don’t worry — full support and development will be provided every step of the way.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future workforce within the childcare sector. You will support and inspire apprentices both in the workplace and in college, guiding them through their learning journey and preparing them for successful careers.
As a Childcare Trainer, you will manage your own caseload of apprentices, delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment while building strong relationships with employers. You will provide personalised support, track progress, and ensure apprentices develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to succeed in their End-Point Assessments and beyond.
If you are enthusiastic about making a difference, enjoy working in a dynamic environment and are committed to delivering outstanding learning experiences, we would love to hear from you.
About You
You will be an experienced childcare professional with a passion for developing others and a strong understanding of the sector. Ideally, you will have experience in training or assessing apprentices, although this is not essential.
You will be confident in delivering engaging and inclusive learning both in the classroom and in the workplace, with the ability to motivate learners to achieve their full potential. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, as you will be working closely with apprentices, employers and colleagues to ensure a high-quality learning experience.
You will also be committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences and supporting apprentices to achieve positive outcomes.
Whether you already have teaching experience or are looking to move into education, you will be fully supported to develop and thrive in the role.
