Description
Spotlight Pathology is recruiting for an Implementation Manager who will lead on the deployment of artificial intelligence decision support tools into clinical laboratories.
This will be a varied role as part of a small team. The successful candidate will be self motivated and enjoy learning new skills. They will thrive working in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will communicate confidently to customers and work well within the development team and with the wider organisation, engaging positively with all departments from quality assurance to commercial.
The role will involve:
* Taking overall responsibility for the implementation of Spotlight Pathology's AI products into customer laboratories.
* Completing documentation as part of customer procurement processes in line with ISO 13485:2016.
* Understanding diagnostic workflows and co-developing streamlined AI-enabled workflows.
* Working between Spotlight's commercial and technology teams to undertake technology integrations between Spotlight's AI infrastructure and customer laboratory IT systems.
* Development and delivery of training materials for customer onboarding.
* Validating installations at customer laboratories and recording outcomes within Spotlight's ISO 13485:2016 certified quality management system.
* Collect and monitor success metrics to business benefits of product deployments for customer laboratories.
* Acting as the primary contact for customers during the integration period.
* Communicating with the leadership team on project progress.
* Assist with the collection of data for post market surveillance activities, in line with UK MDR 2002 and EU IVDR 2017/746 requirements.
The role requires the following skill set:
* A BSc, MSc or equivalent experience in a scientific discipline.
* Demonstrated track record with project management, ideally including working with NHS organisations.
* Excellent communicator both written and oral; enjoys working in a collaborative environment. Able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* High levels of proficiency with digital technology including the ability to train users in the use of computer software in a laboratory environment.
* Self-directed with individual time-management skills.
Desirable:
* Experience working in a laboratory environment (such as biomedical scientist).
* Experience working with artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.
This will be a hybrid role which requires flexible working and an office presence at our head office at Daresbury Laboratories. Our team is based across the Liverpool City and Manchester regions with travel required nationally for customer site visits.
