Job description
We opened our first shop, in the heart of the Cotswolds over 25 years ago. We love beautiful things well-made and built to last, that really make a home and we're looking for the best customer experienced colleagues to join our expanding team.
As the face of The Cotswold Company, combined with a great service attitude, you will meet different people from all walks of life every day. You will be a Brand Ambassador, delivering our product to the highest possible standards nationwide.
Key Duties and responsibilities will include:
* Delivering to room of choice, package removal and assembling when required
* Complete daily defect forms and inspection of your vehicle and report any issues to Management immediately.
* Load your routed orders onto the vehicle according to company specification when needed.
* Maintain ongoing communication with Transport office
* Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs.
* Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer
* Cleaning of and day to day vehicle maintenance, ensuring the vehicle is always ready to drive
* Keep accurate records of deliveries and customer authorisation, ensuring all documentation is submitted in a timely manner
* Ensuring all vehicle telematics are in a good state of repair and any issues reported immediately to the Home Delivery Office. Also ensuring cameras are clean and clear of any obstructions.
* Ensuring in the unfortunate event of a vehicle breakdown or a road traffic incident that these issues are reported immediately to the Home Delivery office.
* Take pride and extreme care whilst at customers properties, ensuring all necessary precautions are followed to avoid & prevent damages.

Qualifications, skills and experience:
Essential
Desirable
Full clean UK driving licence for at least 12 months
QC experience
Good level of customer service skills
Home delivery experience
Experience driving larger vans (Luton/Lo Loader etc)
Organised and strong attention to detail and accuracy
Confident user of technology such as smart phones/tablets
