IT Site Services Specialist – Nottingham (Onsite)
Are you passionate about hands‑on IT support and looking to grow your technical career? We're searching for an IT Site Services Specialist to join our Nottingham office and provide exceptional technical support across our UK operations.
In this broad-ranging onsite role, you'll take ownership of imaging and configuring desktops and laptops, supporting both local and remote colleagues, and ensuring our users receive a seamless and reliable IT experience. You'll work Monday–Friday within standard office hours, with plenty of autonomy to make a real impact.
What You'll Do:
• Install, configure, test and decommission hardware and software
• Resolve incidents and service requests—capturing, categorising, and progressing them efficiently
• Investigate problems and assist in implementing long-term fixes
• Support routine IT infrastructure operations and maintenance
• Maintain an accurate asset register and produce associated reports
• Assist with software configuration, testing and troubleshooting
• Contribute to continuous improvement of tools, processes and standards
• Be involved in projects across the wider IT organisation
What You'll Bring:
• Experience in systems support, PC/user support, and LAN administration
• At least a basic knowledge of Intel‑based hardware, Windows operating systems and IP networking principles
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, flexible attitude
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
• Critical thinking, attention to detail and a passion for learning
• A self-starter mindset with the confidence to work independently
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in the IT field
