Civil Engineer

Up to £40,000 basic salary
We’re working with a well-established business operating within land development and infrastructure delivery, who are looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to join their technical team based in Rugby.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer with a few years’ experience who wants exposure to the full development process: from early land appraisal through to infrastructure delivery and post-planning stages.
The role:
* Support the technical team with appraisal and delivery of development and infrastructure projects
* Assist in coordinating technical assessments including drainage, transport, flooding, geotechnical, ecology and other site-specific studies
* Carry out site visits and surveys to gather technical and environmental information
* Liaise with external consultants to ensure quality, value and timely delivery
* Contribute to technical appraisals, cost plans and project budgets
* Work closely with planners, architects, engineers and project managers across all stages of development
* Support the preparation of technical reports, documents and presentations
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
About you:
* 2–4 years’ experience in a civil or technical engineering role
* Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
* Good understanding of the development and infrastructure process
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Proactive, adaptable and keen to continue learning
* Comfortable working both in the office and on site
* Full UK driving licence required
