Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across two holiday cottages based in Tissington, This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and excellent customer service are highly valued. Prior experience is not essential, as training will be provided, but a positive attitude and strong communication skills are desirable.
Duties
* Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
* Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal outdoor areas including hot tubs
* Ensure waste disposal is handled efficiently and responsibly
* Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
* Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
* Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
* Communicate effectively with clients and team members to meet their cleaning needs and expectations
Requirements
* Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving travel to a small village
* Good command of English to facilitate clear communication with clients and colleagues
* Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients and visitors
* Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively within the team and with clients
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
* Organised, reliable, and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
