Salary: £52,000 - £55,000 + Car / Allowance, Generous Bonus Scheme
The Role
We are partnering with a well-established e-commerce business that is investing in a new depot in Motherwell. With a strong track record of growth and a reputation for delivering reliable service to customers across the UK and internationally, the business is seeking a Site General Manager to lead this strategically important site.
This is a key leadership appointment, offering the opportunity to establish and manage a new operation, ensure the highest standards of service, and build a high-performing team. The successful candidate will play a central role in driving efficiency, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction within a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day operation of the Motherwell depot
* Ensure efficient stock management, accurate order processing, and smooth logistics operations
* Recruit, manage, and develop a capable, engaged team
* Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems, and service delivery
* Collaborate with senior leadership to support wider business growth objectives
Candidate Profile
* Proven experience in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain environment as a Site General Manager or similar
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
* Commercially aware with a focus on service delivery and operational efficiency
* Hands-on, solutions-focused approach within a fast-paced environment
* Confident managing processes, systems, and KPIs
