Why This Role Matters
The Games Delivery Coordinator will play a crucial role in preparing and delivering an exceptional Team England experience at the 2026 Commonwealth Games. Reporting to the Games Services Manager, you'll support the operational and sporting delivery of Team England in a complex, fast-evolving environment. This is your chance to shape a world-class sporting event, build lasting legacies and celebrate inclusivity and diversity.
What You'll Be Doing
* Support the Games Delivery team with team preparation and Glasgow projects.
* Coordinate logistics and operational plans for Sport Team Leader and Team Behind the Team (volunteer) workshops.
* Assist in procurement requirements and planning for the Games.
* Contribute to the Glasgow Ready programme.
* Collaborate with the Kings Baton Relay (KBR) project manager on logistics, accommodation, transport, catering, and kit requirements.
* Support the Operations Manager with procurement and ticketing requirements for the Games.
* Track project budgets, process invoices, and manage spend reconciliation.
* Support CGE's strategic initiatives in equality, diversity, inclusion, and environmental sustainability.
* Provide operational support for offsite meetings and events as needed.
* The Games Delivery Coordinator will take on key responsibilities during the Games, which will evolve as final plans develop.
Essential Skills

* A background in event coordination or similar roles.
* Excellent administrative, planning and organisational skills.
* A confident communicator with excellent attention to detail.
* Able to prioritise, problem-solve, and remain solution-focused.
* Comfortable working independently and in a team.
* Thrives under pressure with a 'can do' attitude.
* Interest in international sport/events.
What Your First 6 Months Will Look Like
* Build key relationships and collaborate on Glasgow projects and workshops.
* Support Kings Baton Relay logistics and operational planning.

* Gain hands-on experience in event management and budget tracking.
