We’re looking for a capable and approachable HR Assistant to join a small, busy HR function based in Ipswich. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in being well organised, and wants to build a long-term career in human resources.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working with confidential information, confident communicating with people at all levels, and able to manage their workload in a fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities
* Provide first-line HR support to employees and managers
* Maintain accurate HR records and update systems
* Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities
* Prepare HR letters, contracts, and documentation
* Support absence tracking, benefits administration, and payroll data
* Assist with training coordination and people initiatives
About You
* Previous administrative or HR experience
* Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
* Clear and professional written and verbal communication
* Able to handle sensitive information with discretion
* Confident using Microsoft Office
* Positive, proactive, and willing to learn
