Quorn Foods are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Operative to join our Technical & Hygiene team based at our Billingham site. What you'll be responsible for: Operating across all areas of the site, including production, peripheral and external areas, you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas constantly meet strict standards of hygiene. Following our 'clean as you go' policy you will assist in the day-to-day operation by carrying out scheduled daily cleaning tasks to an excellent standard. This will include performing chemical dosing to the correct level and ensuring that all paperwork records are correctly accurately. What experience you'll need to have: - Demonstrable knowledge of hygiene/cleaning across a manufacturing/commercial facility with ability to handle chemicals and understand COSHH requirements - Present IOSH Working Safely certification and if possible along Environmental Awareness and Food Safety qualifications - Ability to prioritise a demanding and varied workload - Knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes such as Word, Excel and Outlook - A passion for healthy, sustainable products which are better for our consumers and the planet – you don’t have to be a vegetarian to work for Quorn!
