Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, flexible and enthusiastic Healthcare Support Worker to join our friendly nursing team working within gynaecology and surgery. The post is based on Ward A3, The Grange University Hospital which is a 22 bedded ward. Also within the ward is the Emergency Gynaecology Assessment unit and the Early Pregnancy assessment Unit. The successful applicant needs to have a interest in women's health and prior experience would be desirable but not essential as training and support will be offered. This opportunity will help you to develop your skills and experience whilst making a difference to patient care. Applicants will be supported in an informal visit to the area if they wish and opportunities to ask questions. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. Main duties of the job The successful applicant will work as part of a team that provides health care services to patients within an inpatient ward/ department, focusing on the direct needs of patients undergoing healthcare treatments.
