Job Description Summary The Senior Product Manager is a strategic leadership position within GE Vernova Power Conversion & Storage. You will direct the strategy and commercial success for a portfolio centered on Visor, Historian, Pilot, Cyber appliance / tools and Cloud infrastructure / landing zone (owning business requirements and risk profile). You will lead product risk governance for the business unit’s connectivity and digital service solutions and manage a team of Product Managers, navigate complex market dynamics. Job Description Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Portfolio Management Team Direction: Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers, ensuring strategic alignment and accountability across the portfolio. Lean Leadership: Apply Lean principles to drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and efficient product delivery within the team. Portfolio Strategy: Own the multi-generational product plan (MGPP) for Visor/Cloud, and Cyber tools to maintain a cohesive, value-driven ecosystem. Cloud Landing Zone: Define business requirements and govern the risk profile for customer connectivity, VPN termination, and inspection protocols. Strategic Alliances: Manage high-value relationships with external technology partners and vendors. Prioritization: Resolve conflicting stakeholder priorities and navigate market dynamics to optimize investment and ROI. Cybersecurity Governance, Compliance & Risk Enterprise Liaison: Serve as the senior interface to GE Vernova Corporate wrt Cloud infrastructure for ICS/OT products, aligning product innovation in the digital and connectivity space with enterprise standards. Risk Governance: Accountable for the cybersecurity risk profile of the assigned portfolio, identifying vulnerabilities and directing mitigation strategies. Standards Accountability: Define, publish, and enforce security-related standards across the business unit. You will hold the organization to account for adherence to these frameworks and global standards, specifically IEC 62443. Technical Authority: Act as a lead consulting expert cybersecurity and the adoption of secure-by-design principles within industrial control environments. Commercial Execution Executive Influence: Align portfolio strategy with senior leadership objectives and global commercial targets. Lifecycle Ownership: Direct products from initial business case through to deployment, service, and replacement. Market Expansion: Identify and execute growth opportunities for digital and cybersecurity services, leveraging our security posture as a key commercial differentiator in global tenders. Qualifications & Skills Required Experience: Minimum 5 years in a Senior Product Management position. Professional Certifications: CISSP, GICSP, or IEC 62443 expert. Security Expertise: Deep knowledge of OT/ICS environments and industrial cybersecurity. Risk Governance: Proven ability to manage complex risk profiles and interface with corporate security or compliance functions. Communication: Good executive-level communication; able to simplify complex security and technical concepts for senior stakeholders. Sector Knowledge: Experience in Energy, Oil & Gas, Offshore, or Industrial Automation. Desired Education: Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Standards Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of IEC 62443, the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and NIST SP800 series relating to product and system security.
