We are looking for a Fleet, Training, and Compliance Coordinator to join our dynamic team!
In this role within the Capital, Maintenance, and Inspection (CMI) team, you will be responsible for overseeing training, fleet and plant management, driving behavior initiatives, and ensuring equipment compliance.
This is a part-time, office-based position, requiring 16 hours per week. You’ll have the flexibility to choose between working two full days (most likely Tuesday and Wednesday) or three shorter days (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday).
You will:
* Ensure records are accurate and consistently up to date, while managing and overseeing various fleet, equipment, and instrument compliance activities within CMI. You will also support CMI Managers in achieving the broader team objectives.
* Actively drive productivity by ensuring staff are informed about key performance metrics, enabling the team to meet productivity and compliance targets. When targets are missed, you’ll analyse the root cause, implement corrective actions, and share key insights with colleagues to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
* Coordinate the external training portfolio for over 500 colleagues, while also leading efforts to ensure all internal training is necessary, timely, and aligned with compliance requirements for the CMI team.
* Prioritise internal customer needs in every decision, ensuring exceptional customer service performance and value are delivered by yourself, your team, and contract partners, to meet or exceed customer and regulatory expectations.
* Collaborate closely with CMI Managers and SSE Fleet Services to deliver top-tier service and ensure operational excellence.
You have:
* A proven track record of prioritising safety, service, and efficiency, paired with strong communication skills. Your ability to simplify complex messages for easy understanding will be invaluable.
* Excellent organisational capabilities, a keen eye for detail, and strong analytical skills, with the ability to enforce compliance with policies and procedures.
* Confidence in engaging with colleagues at all levels, including senior managers and operational teams, and a proactive attitude toward driving innovative solutions and contributing to ad hoc projects as needed.
* The ability to support individuals directly, as well as guide them to the relevant policies and procedures when required.
* Great IT proficiency, including expertise in various Microsoft applications, and experience in building SharePoint sites would be an advantage.
For this role a full, current driving license is essential.
