About the Role
The HR Operations team at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH) provides an HR advisory service to line managers across a full spectrum of HR and employment matters.
This position involves providing HR advice to line managers on a wide range of matters through the application of Trust policies, interpretation of UK employment law and best practices across all levels of staff. You can expect to be managing a caseload of employee relations cases, primarily focusing on attendance management and probationary support.
Responsibilities
* Provide HR advice to line managers on a wide range of employment matters;
* Manage a caseload of employee relations cases, with a focus on attendance management and probationary support;
* Interpret and apply Trust policies and UK employment law to support staff and managers;
* Champion the NNUH People Promise and PRIDE values;
* Ensure timely and positive outcomes for complex and challenging workloads, especially in a contact‑centre environment.
Qualifications
* Experience working in a contact centre environment and/or in employee relations;
* Excellent interpersonal and problem‑solving skills;
* Highly professional and confident communicator;
* Ability to autonomously deliver positive outcomes and prioritise competing demands.
Location and Working Arrangements
The role can be worked on a hybrid basis, with an expectation to attend the HR Operations office in the Norwich city centre and to be available to attend the main hospital site at short notice, sometimes within the same working day. Applicants must be able to attend in Norwich or across Norfolk at short notice.
