Overview
The Band 3 Clinical Support Worker will work as part of the community Bladder and Bowel Specialist Service to undertake high quality, caring and compassionate personal care and associated duties as delegated to them by the Bladder and Bowel nurse Specialist under their direction but not direct supervision of the registered staff and working as part of the multi-disciplinary team. The CSW contributes to the delivery of high-quality healthcare, supporting the registered professional in the safe, effective, compassionate patient care in the patient\'s home, residential homes or a clinic room setting. This job description should be read in conjunction with the person specification for this particular job.

The team aims to identify the causes of bladder or bowel dysfunction and to manage or treat where possible, restoring dignity and independence to the individual.
Responsibilities
* Undertake reassessments of patients in both the patient\'s own home and residential care settings.
* Provide health promotion to patients and their carers/relatives where possible, helping to prevent early admission into residential care due to poor continence management.
* Support the registered professional in delivering safe, effective, compassionate patient care in line with the care plan.
Qualifications
* Health and Social Care NVQ3 (or equivalent) with prior experience in health and social care.
* A full driving licence and car owner/driver are essential.
