We’re looking for a Challenging Behaviour Support Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Treorchy, working with KS3 & KS4 pupils who need extra support to thrive. This is your chance to make a lasting difference — helping students overcome barriers, build confidence, and re-engage with learning.
Interviews via Microsoft Teams – taking place over the next two weeks.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Deliver 1:1 and small group support for students with behavioural needs.
* Build trust and strong relationships to help students manage emotions.
* Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
* Assist with schoolwork and keep students on track.
* Work closely with teachers to implement tailored support strategies.
* Safeguard student wellbeing and ensure a safe, structured environment.

What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 5 GCSEs (including core subjects).
* Patience, resilience, and excellent communication skills.
* Experience in education, youth work, or care (desirable, not essential).
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* EWC registration (we can help you with this!).
