Job Title: Technical Account Manager

About the Role:
I’m partnered with an IT Managed Service Provider, they are seeking an experienced Technical Account Manager to join our Technical Services team. Reporting to the Head of Customer Engagement, you'll be the main point of contact for clients, managing relationships, understanding their technical needs, and ensuring the successful delivery of IT services.
MSP experience is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow client relationships as a trusted technical advisor
* Oversee account renewals, upsell services, and ensure timely service delivery
* Coordinate IT projects with internal teams
* Provide strategic technical advice based on client goals
* Report on service performance and client satisfaction
* Identify areas for service improvement
Requirements:
* 2+ years in a similar role within an MSP environment
* Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud, networks, and cybersecurity
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Customer-focused, proactive, and strategic in approach
Essential Skills:
* Virtualisation, servers, networking (Cisco, HP, Juniper)
* RMM tools and cloud (Public/Private, SaaS)
* Cyber Security (Endpoint protection, XDR/NDR, etc.)
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project)
Desirable:
* Knowledge of AI/automation in IT
* Familiarity with ISO standards and ITIL
