Property Litigation Solicitor/CILEX
Locations: Bath, Trowbridge, or Swindon
Our client are looking to recruit a detail-oriented lawyer to join their busy property litigation team. This role offers exposure to a broad range of matters and the chance to develop your expertise alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive environment.
The successful candidate will advise a varied client base including landlords, tenants, developers, managing agents and individuals on disputes such as:
* Residential leasehold issues, including breaches, enfranchisement and management disagreements
* Commercial landlord and tenant matters: lease renewals, arrears, dilapidations, forfeiture
* Boundary, covenant, and rights of way disputes
* Trespass, nuisance, and adverse possession claims
* Co-ownership and trusts of land
* Residential eviction proceedings and tenant breaches
* Misrepresentation disputes
Your caseload will be your own to manage with guidance and support as needed. You'll also collaborate on complex cases and take an active role in business development.
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Solicitor or CILEx with 1-5 years' experience in property litigation
* Solid grasp of both residential and commercial landlord and tenant law
* Commercially aware, with a clear, client-friendly approach to legal advice
* Organised, responsive and confident managing competing priorities
* Willing to contribute to a growing team and develop your professional profile
* Experience with commercial landlord/tenant work is helpful but not essential.
