Join Our Team as a Speech-Language Pathologist!
Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a real difference in the lives of students? We have an exciting opportunity for you to support K-12 students in Orange Park, FL, for the upcoming school year! This contract position allows you to work closely with children to address their unique speech and language needs.
What You'll Do:
* Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
* Develop and implement customized therapy plans that align with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
* Provide direct speech and language therapy in both one-on-one and group settings.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development.
* Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed.
* Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress as required by the school.
What We’re Looking For:
* A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
* Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
* Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
* Experience working in school settings, especially with K-12 students.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate effectively with educational staff.
* Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and effective intervention strategies.
