About the Job:
As a Vehicle Polisher and Quality Controller, your primary responsibilities will include:
13. Performing polishing of newly painted panels to ensure the removal of all dirt inclusions and achieve a finish matching the original coat.
14. Rectifying any paint defects that may have occurred during the painting process.
15. Using handheld polishers to flat and polish surfaces effectively.
16. Ensuring proper removal and refitting of parts according to manufacturer's instructions, with clear labelling for easy identification.
17. Undertaking ad hoc duties as required.
18. Conducting final quality control procedures to ensure repairs meet the BSI PAS 10125 standards.
19. Reviewing company procedures and processes to ensure compliance, including the use of recognised repair methods.
About You:
We're seeking candidates with experience in the automotive industry and a solid understanding of vehicle repairs. The ideal candidates will have:
20. Prior experience in car polishing, preferably from an accident repair background, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
21. The ability to effectively plan workload to meet deadlines, work skilfully and safely under pressure, and carry out tasks in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
22. The capability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a flexible approach and a dedication to maintaining high standards and customer satisfaction.
23. You'll also be responsible for adhering to our Health and Safety guidelines, including wearing provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the work areas.
