The Global Vodafone Cyber Security team ensures that Vodafone safeguards it's customers and critical systems against Cyber Attack. We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Security Monitoring and Analytics domain who are responsible for globally running SOC tooling across the entire Vodafone footprint. We are just embarking on a large scale Data modernisation programme, where the successful candidate will play a critical role in the detection, analysis, and mitigation of Cyber security threats to Vodafone and its customers, whilst at the same time leveraging cutting edge technologies surrounded by a really great high performing team.
The successful candidate will play a key part in the implementation of our Security Operations Modernisation strategy by modernising critical aspects of our global SIEM, SOAR and Data platforms. This is an exciting time to join us as we invest in our People, Process and Technology in this space over the next 4 years.

Objectives
1. Provide Data Engineering for the Data processed by Security Monitoring and Analytics Domain tools
2. Provide Expertise and Implement Data Visualization Requirements
Responsibilities
3. Develop and Enhance Automated Data Checks/Quality Assurance for all data feeds
4. Work on existing platforms and solutions using DevSecOps and ITOps to ensure platforms are maintained and kept up to date
5. Deploy updates and fixes.
6. Provide technical support as required.
7. Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
8. Perform root cause analysis for production issues
Who you are
Skills and Qualifications:
9. Apprenticeship or Degree Qualified in Computer Science, Cyber and/or Data Engineering Discipline or equivalent experience
10. Some Experience as a Platform or DevOps Engineer or similar role
11. Good knowledge of Python, Bash and other scripting languages
12. Knowledge of cloud platforms ( GCP) preferable
13. Knowledge of data solutions ( Elastic Stack) preferable
14. Some experience with visualisation tooling ( Tableau, Qlik, Kibana) preferable
