Role: Night Patient Care Assistant Location : Cave Veterinary Specialists Salary: £26,701 pro-rated to £22,028.33 per annum Job type: Permanent, part-time Hours : 33 hours per week pro-rata - 7pm - 7am Monday to Sunday Shifts: Week 1 - 7 nights on Week 2 - 7 nights off Week 3 - 5 nights on Week 4- 7-9 nights off Are you an animal lover with a passion for providing exceptional care We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our friendly and welcoming night team. Working alongside our dedicated and experienced night team, including 2 RVN's and PCA team, your job responsibilities will include: Assisting in theatre, which would include cleaning and preparing theatres for surgical procedures, Cleaning and sterilising surgical instruments Stocking consumables in preparation areas and assisting theatre staff Providing inpatient care with the nursing team. Candidates must be competent at handling a variety of species. The role also includes maintaining cleanliness across the hospital.
