Hours: Mon to Fri 0600-1430 / 1200-2030, and 1 in 4 Saturdays as per rota

Purpose Of the Role:
To carry out and support a range of operational warehousing activities, ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and movement of goods.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for loading and unloading vehicles
* Checking and verifying paperwork for each load
* Labelling goods and transporting them to designated areas
* Working collaboratively with colleagues on day-to-day activities
* Carrying out housekeeping duties and keeping MHE (Material Handling Equipment) clean
* Handballing or de-topping goods as required
* Using scanners to record and track pallet movements
The ideal candidate will have
* Experience putting away or retrieving heavy & high value goods
* Strong team player
* Good attention to detail
* Ability to work at a fast pace
* Ability to work on own initiative / unsupervised
* Computer literate
* Manual handling skills
* Awareness of health and safety issues
* Numeracy and literacy skill
* Forklift License (desirable)
