This role will require you to work across a vast range of Planned Work sites, Civils and specialist supply chain schemes within planned work programmes, whilst carrying out site audits ensuring compliance of Balfour Beatty Safe Systems of Work and processes.
What you'll be doing
As a Supervisor you will have the following accountabilities:
Supervision of site activities using internal and supply chain partner resources
Setting people to work
Monitoring of Works to ensure they are completed as specified in the design documentation
Details and the specification of highway works
Working within a culture of Zero Harm – embedding the 4 Golden Rules within all aspects of service delivery
Report all observations – Close Calls and Good Practices
Carry out Early contractor involvement meetings for future schemes where required.
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
Highway Maintenance
Highway / Civil Construction
Traffic Management
Construction experience (on the tools)
Civil Engineering Contracting
Full driving licence
SSSTS
NVQ L3 (desirable)
NRSWA Supervisor
Lantra 12D – M1/M2,M5,M6
CSCS
