About The Role
Cluster Meeting & Events Executive, Malmaison & Hotel Du Vin York
Up to £13.50 Per Hour including TRONC, 40 Hours • Permanent Contract • York
A fantastic opportunity to help maximise the Meeting & Events across the Malmaison & Hotel Du Vin properties in York. You will handle inbound enquiries and ensure the smooth planning and implementation of all events across Malmaison and Hotel Du Vin York. This role is ideal for someone looking to step up from a single-site M&E Executive role.
You will assist the M&E Manager in driving revenue by maximising meeting room occupancy and catering revenue. You will work to optimise client relationships and relationships with other key managers across the two hotels.
This role suits an organised self-starter with excellent communication skills and an eye for detail. Experience of working in a similar property is beneficial, but a positive personality and the ability to think on your feet are essential.
Responsibilities
• Handle inbound enquiries and ensure the smooth planning and execution of M&E events across two York properties.
• Support the M&E Manager in driving revenue through occupancy and catering.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and collaborate with other hotel managers.
Qualifications
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; attention to detail.
• Experience in a similar property is beneficial.
• Positive, proactive attitude and ability to think on your feet.
