Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 18:00 (candidates will be expected to be flexible)
About the Role:
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are currently looking to recruit a Site and Ops Manager to join our business in Parkgate, Rotherham on a permanent basis. The starting salary and package are negotiable for the right candidate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 * Oversee daily production schedules to ensure targets, quality standards, and customer deadlines are met.
 * Identify inefficiencies and implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives.
 * Ensure all operations meet legal, regulatory, and company safety standards, fostering a strong safety culture.
 * Allocate staff, machinery, and materials effectively to maximise productivity and minimise waste.
 * Work closely with quality teams to maintain product standards, address defects, and implement corrective actions.
 * Monitor operational costs, reduce waste, and ensure operations stay within budget.
 * Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and suppliers to maintain smooth flow of materials.
 * Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting regularly to senior management.
 * Lead operational changes such as new technologies, systems, or processes to support growth and innovation.
Experience and Skills Required:
 * Minimum 5 years progressive experience in Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, and People Management.
 * Ability to motivate, develop, and manage teams effectively.
 * Strong analytical skills to quickly identify issues and implement solutions.
 * Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to drive efficiency.
 * Clear, confident communication with staff, suppliers, and senior stakeholders.
 * Understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and quality standards.
 * Strong ability to prioritise, schedule, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
 * Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and align operations with business objectives.
