Join Our Team as a PMO Assurance Manager!

Reporting directly to the PMO Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our projects are delivered to the highest standards and meet their objectives.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, where you can enjoy the flexibility of working from home while also collaborating with your team in the office for meetings. A willingness to travel for these occasions is essential.
As part of the PMO, you will be contributing to all projects within Sysco GB. Please note that this is a full-time role, and there may be times when extended hours are necessary, especially during major project launches or workshops.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure projects align with our strategic goals for successful implementation.
* Develop and maintain the Annual Health Assessment/Assurance Plan.
* Conduct portfolio, program, and project health assessments.
* Track and record improvement areas identified during assessments.
* Identify trends across the portfolio and design innovative ways of working.
* Understand project contributions to strategic goals and enterprise risks.
* Guide project teams through health assessments and improvement activities.
* Provide detailed reporting for individual health checks.
* Enable comprehensive reporting that communicates overall portfolio health.
* Ensure projects are well-prepared before advancing to the next stage.
* Promote best practices and enhance organizational skills in project delivery.
* Plan and conduct project health assessments in line with the annual plan.
* Utilize data insights to identify trends and gaps in project management.
About You:
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Proven experience in project assurance or auditing.
* A background as a Project Manager or extensive knowledge of project environments.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft tools, especially Excel and SharePoint.
* A passion for data and data-driven decision-making.
* Exceptional collaboration skills and high emotional intelligence.
* The ability to influence and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
* A keen understanding of the bigger picture and how various factors impact PMO's future vision.
* Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
