£30,000 - £36,000 depending on experience with OTE of up to £40,000
This long-established and well-respected womenswear, outerwear, and accessories business, located right in the heart of Keswick, is seeking an experienced Store Manager who loves fashion retailing and is eager to grow the business. The store is in a great location, and your role will involve managing a team of 9 within a stable and highly experienced team.
Required
You'll be required to motivate and train your team while ensuring sales opportunities and store profitability are maximized. Great customer service is key to their success (along with their fabulous products!), so you'll be expected to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. Main tasks include:
* Managing and motivating your team to maximize sales and provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.
* Driving a positive environment within your store, ensuring your team is up to date with business initiatives and promotions, sharing best practices, and fostering a fun team culture.
* Proactively leading your team to achieve sales targets through effective coaching and training.
* Setting rotas for your team to ensure the right staffing levels at all times.
* Recruiting new staff members.
* Dealing with web orders for in-store collection.
* Handling online returns.
* Managing the sales budget, monitoring performance, delivering targets, and setting KPIs.
* Visual merchandising to maximize sales potential and maintain a premium store image.
* Ensuring all business policies and financial controls are followed.
* Assisting with managing window displays.
To Apply You Will Have
* Previous store management experience within retail fashion, ladieswear/clothing, accessories, or other retail sales roles with a proven track record of managing stores and teams.
* A positive outlook and can-do attitude; ownership of issues and proactive problem-solving skills are highly valued.
* Commercial awareness and results-driven mindset based on solid decision-making.
* Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire teams.
* Ability to work 5 days per week, including weekends, with weekdays off in lieu on a rota basis.
* Good sales acumen and eagerness to help increase sales conversations.
* Experience working towards individual and team performance targets.
* Excellent communication skills.
* A customer-focused approach, demonstrating that customer satisfaction is a priority.
