Role: Paid Internship – Commercial Operations (Europe)
Location: On-site London Office (near St James Park underground station)
Salary: Depends on experience
Duration:1 year with possible extension
Report to: Head of Commercial (might be supervised by an experience commercial manager on daily basis)
Eligibility: You must have completed taught course and is eligible to work fulltime with University confirmation letter or PSW visa if you are applying via an internship

About the role:
An exciting opportunity for a fresh commercial or legal graduate to experience the world of Utility scale Energy Projects. We are looking for an enthusiastic and open minded individual to join our commercial operations team for up to 12-months and contribute with new ideas to help us become more efficient. If you have a good knowledge of Microsoft office tools, planner, and AI, then we want to hear from you.
The successful candidate will become part of the Commercial Operations team and support the European and LATAM operations of Envision Energy. He/She will focus on supporting the team as they go about negotiating multi-million-dollar projects for Grid Scale Battery Storage and WIND. This position is preferably based in London (UK) or Madrid (Spain) or Shanghai (China). The role is primarily and office-based role with some home-based working. Opportunities to attend and support customer negotiations may also be expected based on the candidate’s aptitude to learning and development.The candidate is expected to learn from his/her peers and contribute ideas on how the team can become more responsive, efficient and successful.
Key responsibilities:
* Understand the revenue streams for BESS and Wind in Europe and work with the commercial managers to develop a Liquidated damages calculator model to support discussions with customers.
* Support the commercial and legal teams to development an online contract register to track key items in signed contracts.
* Support the development of a document control process and system
* Support NDA process and controls
* Support the team in training and assessing AI tools for contract negotiations.
* Support the commercial manager in contract execution by coordinating activities with local and headquarter teams (In China) to track contract signatures, project bonds and insurances, and other commercial documents.
* Understanding pricing strategies and Support in analysing commercial offers and pricing analysis.
Qualification and expertise:
1. Bachelor's degree in Commercial, Legal or AI related from an accredited college or university
2. Fluent in English in speaking and writing
3. Fluency in Mandarin or Simplified Chinese is greatly valued
4. Automation mind-set and good with mathematics model etc.
5. Ability to use AI tools will be preferred
