About the Role
As a Relief Security Officer, you'll provide support across several sites, covering planned and short-notice absences while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and service.
You'll be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, conducting patrols, monitoring site activity and responding confidently to incidents and emergencies.
This is a varied and rewarding position where flexibility, reliability and strong communication skills are essential.
Due to the nature of the role and travel between sites, access to your own vehicle is required.
What We're Looking For
1. Previous security experience
2. Valid SIA Licence
3. SC Clearance desirable
4. Full clean UK driving licence
5. Access to your own vehicle is essential to cover locations across the area
6. Strong communication and customer service skills
7. Professional, reliable and adaptable attitude
8. Ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure
9. Flexible approach to working days and nights
10. Strong attention to detail and observational skills
What You'll Be Doing
11. Providing a professional and visible security presence across multiple sites
12. Conducting routine patrols and security checks
13. Monitoring access and responding to incidents or emergencies
14. Reporting suspicious activity, hazards and security risks
15. Completing accurate incident reports and site records
16. Supporting Health & Safety compliance and procedures
17. Delivering excellent customer service to staff, visitors and contractors
18. Following all Assignment Instructions and site-specific procedures
