We’re looking for a committed and dynamic Team Manager to lead our Children Looked After Team — someone who brings energy, vision, and a deep commitment to achieving the very best outcomes for children in care.
In this role, you’ll provide strong, trauma-informed and reflective leadership to a skilled and dedicated team of social workers. * Provide confident professional oversight and decision-making on complex cases
* Champion best practice in line with statutory requirements and national standards
* Foster a culture of high aspiration, restorative practice, and child-centred care
* Build strong, effective partnerships to secure the best outcomes for children
* Monitor performance, manage risk, and contribute to ongoing service improvement

* Has significant post-qualifying experience in children’s social care, particularly in looked after children and court work
* Combines strong practice expertise with excellent organisational and decision-making skills
* Leads with reflection, compassion, and a strengths-based approach
* Is passionate about supporting staff development, wellbeing, and high-quality practice
* Is deeply committed to improving the lives and futures of children and young people
