Purpose
To manage the service department effectively.
Reporting To
The Depot Manager
Responsibilities
* Checking of hire equipment (Service Red Pen Checks)
* Managing major and minor repairs to ensure highest equipment availability
* Keeping statutory training up to date
* Ensuring workshop and yard compliance
* Processing workshop staff timesheets
* Ensure regular communications with staff regarding performance targets, objectives, and the group's activities
* Cost analyst: Analyse the weekly purchase order report, to cost save and highlight overspending across the depot.
* Assisting in the recruitment of workshop fitters as required
* You’ll be expected to drive improvements in team engagement and participation as well as boost productivity and retention levels
