We are looking to appoint a Forklift Truck Operator based within our Lockerbie Sawmill.Reporting to the yard supervisor and supply chain manager, you will play a crucial role in ourtimber processing operations.,
* Operating a forklift truck to ensure the safe and efficient movement of timber
products and loading of hauliers
* Collaborating with other team members to maintain safe efficient workflow
* Conducting routine inspections of equipment and reporting any issues promptly
* Rigorously adhering to health and safety guidelines and promoting a safe working
environment
* Provide cover across the site as required
* Be proactive and ensure effective and efficient work areas
To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and attributes:
* Valid forklift truck operator certification (5 tonne counterbalance minimum)
* Experience in timber processing or related industries would be an advantage
* Attention to detail and commitment to safety
* Communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team
