We are seeking a Regional Sales Director / Operations Director to oversee approximately £80 million P&L across the North-West of England, demonstrating collaborative leadership, strategic insight, and a balanced sales and operations background.
BASIC SALARY: £110,000 - £130,000 + 30% STIP

JOB DESCRIPTION: Regional Sales & Operations Director
In this role, you will direct the operational and strategic course of your region, ensuring smooth operations and driving growth. We seek a dynamic leader with strong commercial acumen, capable of implementing strategies, leading process improvements, and exceeding customer expectations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage 4-6 depot locations with circa £80 million P&L and £30 million EBITDA, overseeing operational and sales teams.
* Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 7-10 direct and indirect reports, focusing on development and succession planning.
* Execute sales strategies to ensure profitable growth with key clients, including major construction contractors.
* Promote a safety-first culture, leading transformational change emphasizing safety, quality, service, and cost control.
* Operate in a high-performance environment with high expectations from private equity ownership.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
* Experience in fast-paced manufacturing or related industries (construction, food, automotive, pharmaceuticals, or similar), preferably within larger corporations.
* Proven leadership of teams of 5-10 direct and 60+ indirect reports.
* Management style characterized by visibility, approachability, knowledge, and accountability.
* Control of a £20 million+ P&L with a focus on profitable growth.
* Experience with continuous improvement, transformational change, and M&A integration.
