About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver high-profile projects and change initiatives on the UK business plan & roadmap, ensuring the realization of all associated benefits.
Reporting to the Business Transformation Manager, you will be responsible for managing new or ongoing projects assigned from the overall programme plan.
This role supports our rapidly growing business. We operate a hybrid working model, requiring attendance at the Aylesbury office once a week (every Wednesday).
What You'll Be Doing
1. Own and drive the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
2. Collaborate with project sponsors and stakeholders to establish project objectives and deliverables.
3. Prepare, manage, and communicate project plans and schedules; maintain comprehensive project documentation.
4. Coordinate, monitor, and prioritize activities of the project team.
5. Engage with technical teams and external vendors to ensure buildability and efficiencies within the design.
6. Work with Subject Matter Experts to gather requirements, design solutions, and develop process guides.
7. Manage changes in project scope proactively, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
8. Manage and minimize project risks; ensure lessons learned are transferred across projects.
9. Adhere to all company and departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
10. Build and develop vital business relationships for project success.
11. Perform additional duties as requested by management to meet business needs.
What We're Looking For
1. Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques; PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent qualification.
2. Desirable: Agile experience.
3. Experience in delivering large, complex projects.
4. Effective communication skills across all stakeholder levels.
5. High resilience and adaptability to conflicting priorities and setbacks.
6. Strong analytical skills for project analysis and commentary.
7. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
8. Attention to detail; proficient in MS Office and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Visio).
9. Ability to adapt quickly to a rapidly evolving business environment.
