Job Title: Multi:Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Shift Pattern: 3 day week / 4 day week rotating
Salary: GBP40,000 : GBP42,000 + Overtime and Benefits

The Role
Are you an electrically:driven engineer who thrives on variety? We are looking for a Multi:Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team. Youll be the go:to person for ensuring our facility stays at peak performance, tackling everything from complex PLC faults to routine mechanical wear:and:tear.
This isnt just a fix it when it breaks role. You will play a key part in our Preventative Maintenance (PPM) strategy and drive continuous improvement projects across the site.
Key Responsibilities

Electrical Mastery: Fault finding, repair, and installation of electrical systems, including motors, inverters, and control panels.

Mechanical Support: Handling bearings, chains, pneumatics, and hydraulics when the job requires it.

PPM and Reactive: Executing scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime and responding rapidly to emergency breakdowns.

Compliance: Ensuring all work meets 18th Edition (or latest) standards and strict Health and Safety protocols.
What Youll Bring
*
Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ or City and Guilds in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

Certification: 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.
*
Mindset: A logical approach to problem:solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Adaptability: Comfortable working with both modern automated tech and older legacy machinery.
