Roles and Responsibilities
The Teaching Assistant will hold key responsibilities to support pupil attainment and the classroom environment:

Focused Interventions: Plan, prepare, and deliver short, evidence:based intervention sessions (e.g., specific phonics groups, number fluency practice) to small groups of pupils.

Liaison: Provide structured, concise written and verbal feedback to the Class Teacher and relevant specialists regarding pupil performance and well:being.
Requirements
The Academy expects applicants to demonstrate the following:

Qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent qualification) is essential.

Experience: Proven, recent experience supporting pupils within an Academy Trust or large, high:expectation school setting.
*
Core Knowledge: Excellent working knowledge of primary phonics and basic mental maths strategies.
*
IT Proficiency: Competency in using basic classroom technology and data input systems (e.g., MIS/tracking software).
